Howie Post Interview

If you're a student of John K courtesy of his blog you know what's below. If not, go over there and get yourself known and learn a bunch.

Howard Post was one of Harvey Comics most "fun" artists. Fun in the sense that his work is great to look at. John K has lots of scans for your evaluation.

Here's the interview from Comic Book Artist #19 per John K's request:

This is really cool! Thanks for posting. I have a brazilian issue of Little Dot from 1970 here, and after reading the interview you posted i looked for it to check the drawings. What a disappointment, they're awful. I'm sure Howie Post didn't work on this mag i got, it must be from a later period, when the level had dropped a lot.

I don't know if Post is still around or not. I know Warren Kremer is gone. Ernie Colon and Sid Jacobson are still kicking because they were making the news channel circuit recently with their 9/11 graphic novel.

The Post interview was published in 2002 and was apparently a follow-up to an earlier conversation. Look for Comic Book Artist #5 where it is supposed to have a longer interview. Unfortunately I don't have that issue.
